Ester Marcelino de Menezes is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a forward.
Before choosing football as her main path, she also practiced Muay Thai, Jiu-Jitsu and Capoeira.
She was only 15 when she played in the Brazilian U-18 Championship, and she thanked Ceará for giving her the chance to play every match.
Her Brazil U-17 call-up felt almost unbelievable to her, because wearing the national-team shirt had been a dream for years.
Ester is the youngest of four daughters, and her parents worked as street vendors in Fortaleza while supporting her dream.
Her earliest football memories came from playing with boys in front of her house and later joining a nearby futsal school where she was also surrounded by boys.
