Lois Niënhuis
Lois Niënhuis is a Dutch goalkeeper who plays for AFC Ajax in the Vrouwen Eredivisie. She has represented the Netherlands at youth level, including the U17s.

She says being a reserve goalkeeper motivates her, because she feels she is improving every training session and enjoys the work.
She played in mixed teams with boys.
She was put in goal at her very first training session, and she has stayed a goalkeeper ever since.
Her parents run their own pub, and that upbringing shaped her “work hard” and “be there for people” mindset.
