Marissa Unique García

Before her professional career, she played collegiate soccer in the United States, including a stint at Long Beach State University, where she completed her MBA in Business Administration.

During her time at Long Beach State, she was recognized for her leadership on the backline and was named an Honorable Mention All-Big West Conference player in 2024.

Like many elite athletes, she did not focus exclusively on soccer in her early years; she also participated in basketball and track, which contributed to the agility and physical endurance she now utilizes as a professional midfielder.

She has consistently balanced high-level athletics with academics. During her high school years, she was a member of the National Honor Society and graduated with an Advanced Honors Diploma, a commitment to education that she continued into her collegiate years.
