Natalia Acuña is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. She is known for her agility and long-standing presence.
Natalia was born in Coyoacán, Mexico City, but moved to Querétaro at a young age, where she formally began her football training at age 10.
She is a "founding player" of Liga MX Femenil, having joined Querétaro (Gallos Blancos) for the very first professional tournament in 2017 when she was just 15 years old.
Natalia has a famous "ice cream" story: she once missed out on a scheduled starting debut with Club América because she broke team discipline to go buy a Baskin-Robbins ice cream the day before. Her coach tore up the lineup card in front of her and made her work as a ball girl for that match.
Before focusing on goalkeeping, she spent her early childhood playing in various positions until joining the Tigres UANL Juma Sports academy at age 13 to specialize as a keeper.
She launched her own official website (nataliaacuna.com) to provide fans with direct updates on her career, sponsorships, and journey through the league.
