Misa Rodríguez is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Real Madrid CF and the Spain national team.

Her full name is María Isabel Rodríguez Rivero, but she is known as Misa Rodríguez, or only just Misa – which is the only name she currently wears on her jersey. In the past, she had María Isabel on her jersey

At young age, she did several sports: rhythmic gymnastics, judo, running, swimming and cycling

As a child she had tachycardia and her sport career was in danger. But after successful operation, she fully recovers and managed to be a professional football player later

Misa started playing football when she was five - originally as a striker. As she said, goalkeeping seemed very boring to her and she wanted to score goals

She won the Zamora trophy twice (2020/2021 and 2022/2023). This trophy is awarded to the goalkeeper with the lowest "goals-to-games" ratio in the Spanish league

She played for both main Madrid clubs: Real and Atlético

She has a gold medal from FIFA World Cup 2023, where she started in all three group stage matches. With the Spain national team she also played at UEFA EURO 2022, but did not start in any game there
