Miyabi Moriya is a Japanese professional footballer who plays as a defender for NWSL club Angel City FC and the Japan national team.
She enjoys drawing and uses it as a way to unwind. She often creates illustrations on her tablet and has a separate social media account dedicated to her artwork.
She has longstanding relationships with teammates Jun Endo and Hannah Stambaugh, having attended grammar school together and played alongside each other at INAC Kobe Leonessa and on the Japan national team.
She was part of the Japan squad for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup and 2024 Summer Olympics.
She helped INAC Kobe Leonessa win their first-ever WE League title in 2022
Although her WE League debut came in 2021, she has been a pro since 2015.
