Madison Guadalupe Hammond is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defensive midfielder for Angel City FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL).

She started playing soccer at age 5—as the only girl on a boys’ team in Albuquerque.
She is the first Native American player to play in the NWSL, representing both Navajo and San Felipe Pueblo heritage.
She plays the violin and was part of the Wake Forest orchestra while also being a collegiate athlete.
Her Pueblo name is Shrewaka, given in the Keres language.
Her mother, a single parent, served in the U.S. military, which led to Madison moving from New Mexico to Virginia as a child.
In high school, she also played volleyball and comes from an athletic family—her sister Michaela played volleyball for NYU.
She designed the Nike Kyrie Low 4 sneaker, inspired by fellow Native athlete Kyrie Irving.
She was the first Afro-Indigenous athlete to walk the ESPY Awards red carpet in 2022.
She actively supports social justice, working with groups like the Black Women’s Players Collective, Athlete Ally, and Nike N7.
She is also a publish author, contributing with her essay to the book My Life: Growing Up Native in America.
