Moa Jahmekya Edrud is a Swedish footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Hammarby in the Damallsvenskan.
Though she joined Hammarby only in 2023, she’s become a cult figure among the fans because of her personality, commitment, and the way she treats the club. She has said in interviews that she “loves Bajen” (that’s a nickname for Hammarby) and feels very at home in the club.
She started at her local youth club Södra Härene IF, then moved to Växjö DFF in Sweden, then went to Norway (Arna-Bjørnar), then Lillestrøm, before returning to Sweden. That gives her experience in multiple Nordic leagues.
In 2020, while at Arna-Bjørnar (or playing in Norway), she broke a minor finger (in her little finger) and still played a match with a specially-designed glove she put together to support the injury, and kept a clean sheet in that match.
