Simone Peyton Jackson is an American football player who plays as a forward for the Orlando Pride of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). She played college football for the USC Trojans. She has represented the United States at the youth international level.
She began playing football at just four years old with an AYSO team in Redondo Beach, California.
In high school, she was a multi-sport athlete in football, tennis, and track, and co-founded the Black Student Union at Bishop Montgomery High School.
She has represented the U.S. at multiple youth levels, beginning at U-14 and culminating in appearances at the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.
She pursued a degree in Business of Cinematic Arts plus a master's in Entrepreneurship & Innovation—aims to be a creative executive post-career.
Her favorites include molten chocolate cake, the Twilight series, TV show Insecure, and Born a Crime by Trevor Noah.
Before games, Jackson performs a unique ritual where she looks in the mirror and tells herself, “This is your game. When the final minutes come down, I’m looking to you to do the job,” to boost confidence and focus.
