Angelina Hix is an American proffesional footballer who plays as a forward.
Hix was born in Irvine, California, and grew up in the coastal city of Huntington Beach.
During her youth, she was a competitive surfer and was sponsored by a local surf shop.
She was homeschooled for several years during her youth so she could finish her schoolwork early and go surfing every day.
Hix attended MiraCosta College, where she played both soccer and basketball for the Spartans.
During her college soccer career, she recorded 52 goals and 27 assists and served as the team captain in 2013.
She suffered a major injury in October 2018 while playing for Spartak Subotica in Serbia, tearing her ACL, MCL, and meniscus.
Hix officially became the first American to sign in the Mexican league when she joined Club Tijuana.
Hix is a graduate of Dehesa Charter School in California.
She stood out as a multi-sport athlete in college and was offered a full athletic scholarship to play for Cal State Dominguez Hills, though she ultimately did not attend.
Angelina is a big dog lover.
