Nayely Bolaños is an Ecuadorian proffesional footballer who plays as a forward. She represents Ecuador on international level.
Bolaños was born in Ventanas, in the Los Ríos Province of Ecuador.
She began playing football at the age of 10 in youth male football schools because there were no female teams in her hometown at the time.
Nayely faced resistance from boys who did not want a girl playing on their teams, which she credits with giving her the courage to fight for her place on the pitch.
Bolaños made her senior club debut at the age of 13 with Club 7 de Febrero, where she remained for three years.
In 2020, she helped lead El Nacional to their first-ever Superliga Femenina title in Ecuador.
She was part of the Ecuador U-16 squad that competed in the Torneo Evolución organized by CONMEBOL in Paraguay.
