Cristina María Torres Malinow is an Puerto Rican proffesional footballer who plays as a defender. She represented Puerto Rico on youth international level.
Torres was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and grew up playing in local youth leagues before transitioning to the senior ranks as a teenager.
She made her full debut for the Bayamón FC first team at just 15 years old, scoring her first goal only 22 minutes into her debut match.
Torres made history as one of the few Puerto Rican female players to play in Europe when she joined the French side EC Bastiais on a three-month loan in 2020.
She also spent time in the United States playing for Detroit City FC on loan in 2021 before moving to the Mexican league.
Torres has represented Puerto Rico at youth international level, including in the CONCACAF Women’s U-20 Championship.
She joined Pumas UNAM Women after previously playing for Mazatlán FC Women in Liga MX Femenil.
