Mia Isabella Villalpando Valderrama is a Mexican-American defender who represented Mexico at the youth international level and played in two countries, including the United States and Mexico, while earning a podium finish at the 2025 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.

Mia was born in Bonita, California, and holds dual citizenship with the United States and Mexico.

She began playing club soccer at the age of eight with Albion SC before joining the renowned San Diego Surf SC.

Before committing to Mexico, Mia represented the United States at the U-15 level, playing in friendly matches against the Netherlands and Germany.

In 2024, she was featured in a "No Days Off" profile by Whistle, which highlighted her intense training schedule and discipline as a "soccer phenom."

Mia played a vital role in Mexico’s third-place finish at the 2025 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Morocco, notably scoring in penalty shootouts against Italy and Brazil.
