María Fernanda Elizondo Ochoa is a Mexican forward who represented Mexico at the youth international level and played in two countries, including the United States and Mexico, and won six Liga MX Femenil league titles.
She earned her Master’s degree in Business Administration from the EGADE Business School.
Before the professional league existed in Mexico, she played collegiate soccer in the United States for the San Diego State Aztecs.
In 2019, she suffered a serious concussion during a match against Pachuca that required hospitalization, but she made a full recovery to return as a key player for Tigres.
She is widely respected by fans for her role as a "super-sub," often coming off the bench to score crucial goals in the final minutes of matches.
Fernanda is a coffee lover and often shares her favorite local spots in Monterrey with her followers on social media.
She is an advocate for balancing education and sports, frequently speaking to young athletes about the importance of having a career off the pitch.
