Sandra Stephany Mayor Gutiérrez is a Mexican forward who represented Mexico at the senior international level and played in two countries, including Iceland and Mexico, and won five top-division league titles across two different nations.
She is affectionately known by the nickname "La Generala" (The General) due to her leadership and commanding presence on the pitch.
In 2017, she became the first foreign player to win the Golden Boot in the Icelandic top flight while playing for Þór/KA.
Stephany is married to fellow professional footballer and Tigres teammate Bianca Sierra, the couple has twin children together.
She spent nearly four years playing in Iceland, where she was named the league's Player of the Year in 2017.
She has represented Mexico at two different FIFA Women's World Cups: Germany 2011 and Canada 2015.
She and her wife Bianca Sierra released a book titled Nuestro Camino (Our Way).
