Paola Chavero Álvarez is a Mexican proffesional footballer who plays as a midfielder. She represented Mexico on youth international level.
Chavero was born in Tlalnepantla de Baz, a city in the State of Mexico.
She made her professional debut for UNAM Pumas at just 15 years old during the Apertura 2017 tournament.
She has spent her entire senior professional career with Pumas UNAM Women. In early 2026, Chavero became only the second player in the history of Pumas Femenil to reach the milestone of 200 official matches with the club.
She has expressed a strong loyalty to her club, stating in an interview that she does not want to leave for Europe until she wins a championship with Pumas.
Chavero was a key member of the Mexican national team that competed in the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup held in Costa Rica.
She is a graduate of the Pumas youth development philosophy, having been with the institution since the earliest days of the professional women's league in Mexico.
