Mary Angela Long is an American professional football player who plays as a forward for the Kansas City Current of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL).
She began playing football at just three years old.
Her parents, Angie and Chris Long, co-own the Kansas City Current — the professional team she now plays for.
She helped the U.S. win bronze at the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, starting five of six games.
At age 12, she traveled to an international tournament in France that coincided with the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup; the trip sparked her parents' interest in buying a women's football team, which became the Kansas City Current.
She has one sister, Abigail, who plays basketball at Yale University, and two brothers, Christopher and Teddy.
Her favorite holiday was in Greece.
If she weren't a football player, she would play basketball or ice hockey.
Her go-to coffee order vanilla latte.
