Marisa Jordan, née Bova, is an American professional soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for the North Carolina Courage of the National Women's Soccer League.
She grew up in Hartland, Wisconsin, and has three brothers.
Her mother, Amy, played college volleyball for Drake, and her brother, Dante, played soccer for UNC Asheville.
She played soccer as a forward until age twelve, when her coach switched her to goalkeeper, and her team went on to win six straight state cup championships from 2011 to 2017.
During her time at Purdue, she made a program-record 113 saves in her senior season and helped the team qualify for the NCAA tournament for the first time in 12 years.
Fans of Marisa affectionately called her "Mo says no" because of her impressive goalkeeping.
She married Levi Jordan on March 7, 2025 and took his last name. Her maiden name was Bova.
She has a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Criminology from Purdue University.
A big source of motivation for her is making her parents and younger brothers proud, as well as setting a good example for them.
She named the US National Team as her favorite professional soccer team.
She's a fan of Maroon 5 - they would be her go-to for karaoke.
She prefers Ronaldo over Messi.
