Molly Johansson is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for FC Rosengård in the Damallsvenskan, Sweden’s top tier, and has represented Sweden at the U23 level.
She started playing football when she was five years old.
Growing up, she combined football with athletics and says those were the two sports she “fell for” most.
In athletics, she focused especially on heptathlon-style multi-events and triple jump.
She played senior football as early as age 12, debuting in Division 4 as a centre-back.
She said she has “always liked” Lionel Messi, and later started liking Marcus Rashford because he has dangerous technique and dares to take players on.
