Renate Jansen is a Dutch forward who plays for PSV Eindhoven in the Vrouwen Eredivisie. She represented the Netherlands at senior level before announcing her international retirement in October 2025.
She grew up going to the football field with her dad, who coached at SV Abbenes, and she joined the club herself soon after.
Until she was 15, she was the only girl playing among the boys, and she says she never saw that as an obstacle.
Sheβs passionate about nutrition and says she tries to make everything fresh, drink plenty, and eat healthily to keep performing at the top level.
She loves curries and leans toward Asian food.
The strangest thing she has ever eaten is crocodile.
She was awarded Eredivisie Player of the Year for the 2024-25 season.
