Rosalie Carla Hendrika Renfurm is a Dutch footballer who plays as a midfielder. She has represented the Netherlands at youth level.
Her love of football started on a small neighbourhood pitch, playing with her father and brother. When her father eventually asked whether she wanted to join a club, she immediately said yes.
She started playing organised football at just five years old. Her first club was local side VV Hoogland before moving into FC Utrecht’s pathway.
She had gone viral on social media for her ball skills years before becoming a first-team player for FC Utrecht.
Two of her big ambitions are to reach the Netherlands senior team and to play for FC Barcelona one day.
Lionel Messi is her football idol. She has admired him since childhood and called him the best footballer ever because of how enjoyable his style is to watch.
She helped lead the Netherlands to the 2025 UEFA Women’s Under-17 EURO title as the captain.
Her pre-match speeches have become a personal ritual with the Netherlands youth teams. She gives one before every match, changing between a calm delivery and something louder depending on the occasion, but she always finishes with plenty of energy.
