Ria Noora Minerva Öling is a Finnish footballer who plays as a midfielder for Women's Super League club Crystal Palace and the Finland national team.
She was named Finland's Player of the Season in 2014 after scoring 16 league goals for TPS.
She became only the second Finnish player ever to appear in the UEFA Women's Champions League group stage.
She’s played professionally in Finland, Denmark, Sweden, and now England with Crystal Palace.
She was a key part of the Finland squad that won the 2023 Cyprus Women's Cup for the first time.
Her motto? "När man är bäst i rummet, ska man söka sig vidare" – "When you're the best in the room, it's time to move on."
She debuted at age 14 for Vasa IFK's women’s team and took her first major leap at 17 to play in Finland’s top league.
Though Finnish is her native language, she speaks fluent Swedish thanks to a Swedish immersion class as a kid.
Ria and her boyfriend host dinners for teammates from around the world—bonding over tortillas and good vibes.
Caroline Seger is one of her biggest role models.
On her off days, she likes to spend time outdoors.
