Sigdís Eva Bardarðottir is an Icelandic professional footballer who plays as a forward and winger for IFK Norrköping in Sweden’s top women’s league, the Damallsvenskan.
She signed her first professional contract with IFK Norrköping in July 2024, joining from Víkingur Reykjavík and agreeing a deal through summer 2027.
She suffered a serious knee injury in preseason 2025, requiring surgery after a cartilage fragment issue, which kept her out for about six months.
She was involved in Iceland’s national youth setup, including selection for U23 friendlies, showing her profile extends beyond club football.
During injury recovery, she worked closely with IFK’s performance staff and senior players, forming a bond and often training alongside others returning from injury.
