Thelma Karen Pálmadóttir is an Icelandic forward who plays for BK Häcken in Sweden’s Damallsvenskan. She is also a senior Iceland international.
She made her senior Iceland debut at 17, coming on against Northern Ireland in the UEFA Women’s Nations League playoff.
She’s described the moment she stepped onto the pitch for her first Iceland senior cap as something she will “never forget.”
When BK Häcken came calling, she said the decision felt easy — she was “really fired up” because it was a huge opportunity she didn’t want to miss.
