Fanney Inga Birkisdóttir is an Icelandic goalkeeper who plays for BK Häcken in Sweden’s Damallsvenskan and represents Iceland at senior international level.
She was selected for EURO 2025 which was her dream for a long time.
She speaks fluent Swedish after living in Stockholm for four years.
She says that from the moment she started playing football as a child, her goal was to one day play in a big international tournament.
