Stine Sandbech (née Larsen) is a Danish footballer who plays primarily as a defender for BK Häcken in Sweden’s Damallsvenskan and represents Denmark at senior international level.
She has spoken openly about using diary-writing as a support tool during a long and difficult rehab period.
She co-launched a one-step wellness journal project called Oakmind with her husband Emil, aimed at helping people manage everyday stress.
She became a mother in 2024.
She went nearly two years without playing football, before returning and being reshaped from forward into a defensive option for Häcken.
Her comeback story includes two serious knee injuries and a period where she doubted whether she would return at all.
