Lisa Ingrid Madeleine Löwing is a Swedish defender who plays for BK Häcken in Sweden’s OBOS Damallsvenskan and has represented Sweden at youth level (U19 and U23). She joined BK Häcken in 2022 from Göteborgs DFF.
She started playing football when she was five years old.
At nine, she chose to start playing with the boys’ team at Torslanda IK.
She has spoken about receiving nasty comments for being a girl in a boys’ team, and said opponents sometimes refused to shake her hand after matches.
She had multiple concussions as a teenager, which affected her heading and pushed her to develop other parts of her game.
She has a Cavapoo puppy.
She became a Manchester City fan through her dad when Pep Guardiola took over, and described the family as more “Pep fans” than fans of any single club.
