Maja Bodin is a Swedish footballer who plays as a forward for Växjö DFF in Sweden’s top division, the Damallsvenskan.
Her full name is Maja Linnea Sofhia Bodin.
Bodin was born in Karlskrona and began her football career with the local club Nättraby GoIF.
She made her Damallsvenskan debut at just 15 years old for Kristianstads DFF in a match against Piteå IF in September 2017.
During her time with Nättraby GoIF in Division 1 and Division 2, she scored 14 goals in 26 appearances before moving to the top tier.
Bodin scored her first senior international goal for the Sweden U23 team during a friendly match in 2023.
In the 2025 Damallsvenskan season, she was Växjö's leading offensive threat, recording 8 goals in 26 appearances.
Bodin has experience in European competition, having appeared in a UEFA Women's Champions League qualifying match for Kristianstads DFF.
She suffered a knee injury early in her career in 2019 but returned to become a regular starter in the following seasons.
