Emma Östlund is a Swedish centre-back who plays for BK Häcken in OBOS Damallsvenskan. She has represented Sweden at youth level (including U23) and has also been called up to the senior national team.
She played football with a boys’ team when she was younger.
In 2018, she suffered an ACL injury during a league match in Elitettan.
She used to play futsal and even represented Sweden at the U17 level.
She didn’t even know Sweden had a U17 futsal national team until she got called up.
She’s a big fan of the TV show Friends and has a tattoo linked to the theme song (“I’ll Be There for You”).
Her favorite Friends episode is the one where they swap apartments.
