Linda Boama is a Icelandic professional footballer who plays as a forward for Kristianstads DFF in Sweden’s top division, the Damallsvenskan.
Linda was born in Reykjavík, Iceland, and holds dual nationality with Ghana.
Her parents are Edwin Boama and Berglind Ýr Ólafsdóttir, and she is one of five siblings.
Before focusing on football, she competed in both track and field and karate during her youth.
She was a psychology major during her time at Boston College within the Morrissey College of Arts & Sciences.
In 2021, she was named the ACC Offensive Player of the Week (August 31) while playing for the Boston College Eagles.
She is a three-time Icelandic champion at the club level, achieving success early in her career.
She scored 22 goals and provided 15 assists during her breakout 2019 season in Iceland before moving to the U.S.
