Sofia Reidy is a Swedish footballer who plays as a defender. She has represented Sweden at youth international level.
She came through Jitex BK and played there alongside her older sister Ella Reidy.
Before fully committing to football, she was also serious about badminton and even started at a badminton upper-secondary school.
She represented Sweden in youth badminton too, including at U15 level.
She earned her first senior Sweden call-up in February 2026 which came as a shock to her.
Sweden’s Tony Gustavsson has announced its squad for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers, with matches coming up against Italy, Serbia, and Denmark as they begin the qualification campaign. The squad also includes a debutant.
