• The former German international Melanie Leupolz and celebrated midfielder for Bayern, Chelsea and Real Madrid officially confirmed today that she will end her club career this summer.
• Her journey started at SC Freiburg, then starred at Bayern Munich (2014–2020), before moving to Chelsea (2020–2024), and joined Real Madrid ahead of the 2024–25 season.
• Earned 79 caps for Germany, scored 13 goals, and won major honours—including UEFA Women’s Euro 2013 and Olympic gold in 2016—before retiring from the national team in September 2023.
