- Washington Spirit announced the signing of forward Sofia Cantore from Juventus, making her the first-ever Italian player in NWSL history.
- Cantore played a key role in Juventus’s 2024–25 Serie A Femminile title run, finishing with 11 goals and 6 assists in 25 league appearances.
