Anna Victoria Moorhouse is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Orlando Pride of the National Women's Soccer League.
She is an advocate for dog adoption. She grew up around rescue dogs with her family.
It has been her dream to be a professional football player since she was a child but teachers kept telling her it wasn't possible for women.
She first got involved with football at the age of 5 when she was watching her older brother play and wanted to join.
She started playing for a team at the age of eleven in her hometown of Oldham, where she featured for a boys’ grassroots team in Chadderton Grasshoppers.
She joined Manchester United at 16, but they didn’t have a senior women’s team so she eventually moved to Everton.
She received her first England call-up for Lionesses' final two EURO 2025 qualifying games, which has been a dream come true.
What she likes about Orlando is that the city is very inclusive for everyone.
She likes to relax as much as possible before games and not think about them to avoid getting stressed.
In 2024, with 12 clean sheets before the end of the season, she set a new National Women's Soccer League record for clean sheets in a single season.
She says the most famous contacts in her phone are Beth Mead and Marta.
She earned a bachelor's degree in Sports and Exercise Science from Liverpool Hope University.
She is in a relationship with her Orlando teammate Viviana Villacorta.
