Emily Jo Ramsey is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Everton in the Women's Super League and the England under-23 team.
She was part of the team that won bronze medal at U20 World Cup in France.
She joined Manchester United academy at the age of nine.
She had to join Liverpool for a year because Manchester United did not have senior team, then returned a year later for their inaugural season.
Her idol growing up was Hope Solo.
She started play football at the age of seven.
She had aspirations to play for the boys Under 8s team, but league rules at the time stopped her from playing in an outfield position. It was then that she made her goalkeeping debut and she hasn’t looked back since.
Her all time favorite TV show are The Office and Friends.
She graduated from University of Salford in Applied Football Studies.
