Did You Know?
Although she was born in Petrolina, Pernambuco, she grew up in Juazeiro, Bahia, which is why she became known as "Baiana."
Carol graduated with a degree in International Business while studying in the United States.
Her professional career has taken her to Brazil, France, Sweden and the United States.
She represented Brazil at two FIFA U-20 Women's World Cups, in 2012 and 2014.
She helped Palmeiras win the club's first-ever Copa Libertadores Femenina title in 2022.
During a Santos community visit, she encouraged children to value education alongside football and spoke about how becoming a mother strengthened her desire to inspire young people.
