Elaily Hernández-Repreza is a Salvadoran defender who represents El Salvador at senior international level and has played in Central American competitions.
She began her international career at the remarkably young age of 13, when she was first called up to the El Salvador national system.
Before choosing soccer, Elaily was an avid gymnast and says she would still be in gymnastics today if she wasn't a footballer.
She is a natural leader on the pitch and served as the captain for the El Salvador Women’s Under-20 National Team.
Her family is her biggest athletic inspiration; she credits their sacrifices for allowing her to pursue her professional dreams.
She helped El Salvador secure a historic bronze medal at the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games.
She values education highly, noting that soccer "is not forever" and she wanted a degree to support her family in the future.
