Gabriela Kasper Barbieri

She considered stepping away from football before eventually continuing her development and reaching Brazil’s youth national team.

Goalkeeping runs in her family, her father, mother, and brother all played the position. Her father, Cleiton Barbieri, was part of Internacional’s youth setup in the 1990s.

Barbieri was part of Brazil’s squad that won the 2022 South American U-20 Women’s Championship.

She owns a pet - brown dachshund, its name is Linda.

Before fully transitioning to outdoor football, she played futsal until 2016.

Barbieri is known for wearing the same high bun hairstyle during matches, making it one of her most recognizable on-pitch trademarks.
