Guro Bergsvand is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a defender for WfL Wolfsburg and the Norway women's national team.
She grew up playing football with Ada Hegerberg.
She has a degree in Media studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
She captained Golden Bears and was voted their Most Inspirational Player.
Her father Jo Bergsvand also represented Norway in football.
In addition to being a football player, she also worked as a marketing consultant.
She says that she needs to do something outside just playing football, otherwise she would get bored.
She had serious injuries while in the US which set her career back.
She made her Norway senior debut at age 27 and also scored on that day.
