Iris Omarsdottir is a Norwegian footballer of Icelandic heritage who plays as a forward. She has represented Norway across several youth levels and received her first senior national-team call-up in July 2026.
Omarsdottir was born in Oslo and has both Norwegian and Icelandic family heritage.
Her unusual shirt number, 51, comes from the number painted on her grandparents’ milk churn at their farm on the Norwegian island of Jomfruland.
She has a twin brother named Fabian, and the pair began playing football together at Sagene IF.
Her three goals at the 2022 U19 EURO finals placed her among the tournament’s leading scorers.
She initially played on a boys’ team alongside her twin brother rather than joining a girls-only team.
