Sara Kanutte Sørensen Fornes is a Norwegian forward starring for Malmö FF in Sweden’s top flight. Known for her strong finishing, aerial ability, and intelligent movement, she has quickly become one of the most dangerous attackers in the Damallsvenskan. Fornes has also represented Norway at several youth international levels.
Sara grew up on the island of Gossen outside Molde in Norway, where she began playing football with local club Gossen Idrettslag in her youth.
She made her senior debut at just 15 years old in Division 3 with SK Træff, scoring an incredible 50 goals in 27 matches as a teenager.
Her mother played volleyball and her father coached her youth teams, meaning football was a family affair from the very start.
Sara grew up in a very active family, where she and her siblings played around 15 different sports together — everything from volleyball to biathlon.
