Wilma Amanda Carlsson is a Swedish centre-back playing for Malmö FF in the Damallsvenskan, Sweden’s top women’s football league.

Did You Know?

She began playing football at age six with mixed teams at her local club Furunäs/Bullmarks IK before moving to Sävar IK.

Carlsson made her senior Damallsvenskan debut at just 15 years old for Umeå IK, one of Sweden’s historic women’s clubs.

While building her football career, she studied to become a registered nurse at Umeå University and completed her nursing degree alongside playing professionally.

Her favourite part of her game is being involved in both defence and build-up play; she has said she likes playing with the ball and can distribute both short and long passes.
