Ellen Löfqvist is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a defender for Malmö FF in the Damallsvenskan, Sweden’s top women’s league.
Ellen grew up on Alnön, a small island near Sundsvall in Sweden, where she started playing football with local club Alnö IF.
At just 20 years old, she was made captain of Piteå IF and led the club to its first ever Swedish championship title in 2018.
She made her senior debut at just 14 years old in Division 1 with Alnö IF before moving on to Sundsvalls DFF.
