Mia Johanna Persson is a Swedish midfielder and veteran leader for Malmö FF in the OBOS Damallsvenskan. A seasoned campaigner with domestic and international experience, she has become a cornerstone of Malmö’s rise in Swedish women’s football.
Mia began playing senior football at just 13 years old with her first club, Sjöbo IF, in Sweden’s Division 1.
During college, she was named MVP of the NAIA National Championship tournament when her team won the title, highlighting her influence on the pitch.

Persson was also chosen as the Capital One College Division Academic All-America of the Year, combining athletic and academic excellence.
She has played in the UEFA Women’s Champions League with both Slavia Prague and FC Rosengård.
