Halle Elizabeth Mackiewicz is an American professional football player who plays as a goalkeeper for Chicago Stars FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL).
She started as a field player but switched to goalkeeper at just 10 years old.
She also played basketball in high school.
In 2023 at Clemson, she posted 13 shutouts, the most in a single season in program history and second-most in the entire NCAA that year.
Her senior season in college ended with her being named ACC Goalkeeper of the Year and a Second-Team All-American by United Soccer Coaches.
She tore her UCL while training with the U.S. U-17 national team in 2017, missing the CONCACAF championship, but fought her way back into camps with the U-17, U-19, and U-20 teams in the years that followed.
After being drafted by the Kansas City Current but not signed due to shoulder surgery, Halle went abroad and began her pro career in Sweden with Trelleborgs FF.
She pursued a major in Civil Engineering during her time at Clemson University.
