Jada Leanne Mathyssen-Whyman is an Australian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for AIK in Sweden’s top division, the Damallsvenskan and the Australia national team.
Jada is of Aboriginal Australian descent, with roots in the Wiradjuri and Yorta Yorta peoples.
Whyman made her professional debut at age 16 with Western Sydney Wanderers in the then W-League.
Before moving abroad, she played for Western Sydney Wanderers and Sydney FC in the A-League Women, amassing significant top-flight experience.
In the 2025 Damallsvenskan season, Whyman featured regularly in goal for AIK, starting most league matches.
She has been called up to senior Matildas squads, although she is yet to make a senior cap.
Beyond football, she has been involved with Indigenous youth initiatives, mentoring and supporting young players.
Jada represented Australia on youth international level throughout WU17, 20 and 23 categories.
She's studying at the University of Sydney.
