Ida Björnberg was born on and grew up in the Örebro area.
She began playing football at an early age with Rynninge IK.
At just 14 years old, she continued her development by joining Örebro SK, accelerating her pathway toward senior football.
She featured in eight senior matches during her debut season at women’s level in 2021.
Her first appearance in the OBOS Damallsvenskan came in July 2022 away against Kristianstads DFF, entering the match late as a substitute.
Despite her young age, she has already played 44 matches in the Damallsvenskan across her career (January 2026).
Björnberg has represented Sweden at youth international level, earning 19 caps and one goal for U17, and 21 caps and two goals for U19.
