Jade Linthorst is a Dutch forward/midfielder who has represented the Netherlands at youth international levels and has played for clubs in the Netherlands, including Sparta Rotterdam and HERA United in the Vrouwen Eredivisie.
She began her sporting life in athletics before switching focus to football around age ten when she joined local club Legmeervogels.
As a youth, she played for Generation One, a girls’ team competing in boys’ leagues, where she was a frequent goalscorer.
Linthorst was selected for a Valencia CF youth training stage.
Jade’s mother, Jacqueline Linthorst‑Duk, has been closely involved in her development, serving as team manager and also working in education and sports coordination locally.
Linthorst made an appearance in the KNVB Cup quarter‑final for Sparta Rotterdam against HERA United shortly before her move.
