Karol Arcanjo

She was born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, and spent a significant portion of her career playing for the major clubs in her home city.

Before her breakout in the Brazilian top flight, she spent nearly a decade (2012–2020) grinding in the regional Minas Gerais circuits, playing for smaller clubs like Manchester BH, Frigoarnaldo, and Ipatinga.

Before committing to professional football, she had a brief stint playing Football 7 with the club Lustrika in 2018.

Arcanjo’s move to Cruz Azul in late 2025 marked the first international transfer of her professional career.

She has described her move to Mexico as a result of her becoming a "more experienced and determined" athlete, noting that she specifically waits until she feels "mentally ready" before taking on massive career shifts.
