Melinda Mendy is a French footballer who plays as a midfielder for Première Ligue club Le Havre and the youth France national team.
Melinda started with ESM Gonfreville-l'Orcher in 2013 and joined the Le Havre AC academy at the young age of ten in 2016.
She is recognized as a key product of the HAC academy, having progressed from the U17 and U19 teams to the senior squad.
Melinda grew up in the working-class district of Caucriauville in Le Havre. She is determined to succeed not just for herself, but for her community, saying she wants to bring a medal back to La Cavee (a famous local footballing venue).
She has a close relationship with teammate Chancelle Effa Effa, often being together when not on national duty, and making the whole city proud as local talents.
On youth international level, she's already won UEFA U17 Women's European Championship in 2023 and ended up silver during UEFA U19 Women's European Championship.
She seems to be passionate about music.
